In partnership with Live Nation Australia, Metallica and AWMH are granting a portion of ticket sales from the Brisbane show to two nonprofit organizations: Foodbank Queensland and Second Chance Programme.
Australia’s Foodbank network works with 2,929 charities around the country every year to get food and groceries to those who could use a hand, and is the largest supporter of School Breakfast Programs in Australia, regularly supplying to 3,220 schools nationally.
Second Chance Programme has been working to raise awareness of the plight of homeless women and their children since 2001. The charitable organization also raises funds for registered charities to provide them with comfortable housing and appropriate services, helping these women regain control of their lives.
