This was the first Metallica concert in Adelaide in over 12 years.
Our first gig in Adelaide was on May 3, 1989 at Thebarton Theatre.
The last time we played in Adelaide was on March 2, 2013, at Bonython Park for the Soundwave Festival.
This was the first time in nearly 28 years that “King Nothing” was performed in Adelaide. It was last played here on April 9, 1998.
Since we’ve released two studio album since our last visit to Australia, it’s pretty obvious that both “Moth Into Flame” and “Lux Æterna” were performed in Adelaide for the first time.
