Show Notes 

This was the second time that Metallica performed live at the Global Citizen Festival and the third time they participated in the festivities. They last performed in Central Park as part of the festival in 2016 and appeared via footage from Louder Than Life in 2021.
Mickey Guyton, who contributed a version of "Nothing Else Matters" for The Metallica Blacklist in 2021, performed the song alongside Metallica.
