The Metallica Family Contributes More Than 25k Life-Saving Blood Donations Through The Red Cross
We are blown away by the Metallica Family’s generous participation across last year’s collaboration with the American Red Cross! Since launching in April 2025, more than 25,000 blood donations have been collected across the U.S. through the Red Cross x Metallica blood drives. We also had the privilege of taking this campaign international during the Australian leg of the M72 World Tour. Including the drives hosted by Australian Red Cross Lifeblood, the total number of blood donations collected rises to nearly 40,000!
We cannot thank the fans enough for rolling up their sleeves and joining us in this campaign to save lives, including thousands of first-time donors.
