#GetTheReLoadOut: The Fan Cover Competition Returns!
In addition to the announcement of ***ReLoad*** **(Remastered)**, today also marks the launch of our #GetTheReLoadOut Fan Cover Competition!
Last year, thousands of Metallica fans across social media submitted their interpretations of ***Load*** tracks for #GetTheLoadOut. We’re back with round two, and this time, we’re taking things to the next level with a new competition category. In addition to the more “Traditional” musical covers, we’re inviting performance and visual artists to submit their content to be judged in the “Non-Traditional” category. We’re talking TikTok dances, paintings, miming, children’s toy instrument performances, or whatever else you can dream up!
A different track off the album will be highlighted each week throughout the competition. Our judges will then comb through the submissions, crowning one weekly winner per category and highlighting them, along with a handful of honorable mentions, on social media. Our weekly winners will receive merch pack prizes, but more importantly, they will be entered to win the Grand Prize.
When all is said and done, we will crown a Grand Prize Winner from both the Traditional and Non-Traditional categories, and those lucky participants will be the proud new owners of a ***ReLoad*** **(Remastered) Deluxe Box Set** signed by the band!
The competition kicks off today with “The Memory Remains.” Submissions for this track must be received by Tuesday, May 5, at 11 AM PT // 2 PM ET.

**How To Participate**
Just like with the last competition, all participants must submit a 60-second or less video via the Google form posted on social media each week. However, this time around, we want to feature our contestants on YouTube. As such, we will require all submissions to be uploaded to YouTube as public videos. We encourage you to record the complete song for your YouTube version (but a full-length version is not required).
