Helping Hands 2024 Sets New Record With More Than $3.5 Million Raised
We’re humbled to share that the 2024 Helping Hands Concert & Auction we hosted in Los Angeles in December raised over $3,500,000 for All Within My Hands (AWMH) and its mission, supporting workforce education, the fight against hunger, and other critical local services.
Funds raised through ticket sales, auction items & experiences, merch, sponsorship, and donations empower our Foundation to make a sustainable difference. AWMH can expand the Metallica Scholars Initiative, which currently supports 60 schools across all 50 United States plus Guam. We can continue to fuel long-standing partnerships with local food banks battling hunger. When disasters strike—like the fires devastating the very same city we were just celebrating in a month ago—AWMH can act with urgency, making donations that will aid in immediate relief and long-term recovery.
Massive thanks to all our friends who joined us on stage to support our Foundation’s work: Jimmy Kimmel, Sammy Hagar, Michael Anthony, Joe Satriani, Kenny Aronoff, Jason Momoa, Tom Morello, RZA, Jeff Ament, and SistaStrings. We must also recognize everyone behind the scenes at YouTube Theater, our partners at Live Nation, the Metallica crew, AWMH & HQ staff, and our amazing volunteers.
The event wouldn’t be complete without this year’s honorees—Montana Pool Service, Homeboy Industries, and Support + Feed—each of which received a $50,000 grant to support their work.
Finally, a huge shout-out to the Metallica Family! Whether you were with us in Los Angeles or watched the show on YouTube, your support is unmatched.
