M72 Weekend Takeovers Return In Europe
April 23 Update:
Weekend takeover events have been added for Munich! Returning favorites include the Ross Halfin Q&A + Book Signing and the Metallica Film Fest. Tickets for both of these events go on sale on Friday, April 26, at 11 AM CEST, with local pre-sales beginning Wednesday, April 24.Also on the schedule are MY’TALLICA: Tribute to Metallica (tickets on sale now), and a Metallica Weekend Bash, including parties, events, and volunteer opportunities, all organized by local fan club chapter St. Germany.
We’re just a few short months away from cranking the Metallica machine back up and making our way to Europe! We can’t wait to see all of you on the road again soon, and we’re excited to share details of one of our upcoming weekend takeovers: Helsinki from June 7 through June 9.
Joining the fun in Finland will be Apocalyptica, the symphonic metal band from Helsinki, for the opening night of their Apocalyptica Plays Metallica Vol. 2 tour at the Black Box of Helsinki Ice Hall.
Returning favorites from other cities include the Ross Halfin Q&A + Book Signing and the Metallica Film Fest featuring Cliff ‘Em All, Cunning Stunts, and Orgullo, Pasión y Gloria.
For those looking for a fun place to hang out with other fans, the Helsinki Ice Hall will also host a Metallica Fan Zone! The free-access Fan Zone will be open from Friday to Sunday before and after the concerts and will offer diverse programming and a place for Metallica fans from all over to congregate. The Fan Zone will be located throughout the Helsinki Ice Hall’s parking lot and indoor areas, featuring a terrace and various restaurants.
Tickets for the Helsinki Takeover events go on sale on February 26 at 10 AM CET.
