Meet James In St. Louis At “Messengers” Book Signing
James has busted open his vault and is sharing photos and stories about his personal collection of guitars in Messengers: The Guitars of James Hetfield, the 400-page coffee table book that hits the streets on November 21. If you’ll be in the St. Louis area the weekend the M72 World Tour rolls through town, you can get your hands on a copy early and have James sign it on Saturday, November 4, at Left Bank Books between 2 and 4 PM.
All fans who attend the signing must have a ticket to enter the event. Tickets are limited and include one copy of the book, which you’ll be able to get autographed. James will only be signing Messengers... during his appearance at the store.
The soon-to-be-released book includes exotic instruments, vintage Gibsons, and custom one-offs. Each of the more than 40 featured guitars is accompanied by lush, museum-quality portraits by acclaimed photographer Scott Williamson (you may know his work from James’ book Reclaimed Rust). If you cannot join us in person, you can check out a few spreads from the book and pre-order your copy in the Metallica Store.
