South American Tour Dates

April 15 Update: Due to the well-publicized difficulties with Estadio Nacional, our long-awaited visit to your city will be moved to Club Hípico de Santiago, still on April 27, 2022.

All previously purchased tickets will be valid at the new venue; no ticket exchanges will be necessary. Please note that the configuration of some sections will change at Club Hípico (details and map below). If you cannot join us at Club Hípico as we celebrate Metallica’s return to Chile, or you are not satisfied with the new venue configuration made necessary by the change of location, you may request a refund beginning April 20 until the deadline as established by law. Visit puntoticket.com/metallica for more information.

We are sorry for any inconvenience that this change may cause, but we were determined to keep this important show on the date promised to Metallica’s many loyal fans.

Relocations:

  • The Pacífico Medio, Pacífico Alto, Pacífico Bajo, Pacífico Lateral and Cancha VIP sections will remain in the same locations.
  • The Andes will be relocated to general standing behind Cancha VIP; Cancha General will now be located behind Andes; and Galería Monster Energy section will be relocated to general standing behind Cancha General. The Andes and Galeria sections will now be standing, not seated.

November 1 Update: Enhanced Experience options are still available with four choices of special packages, including premium concert tickets and merchandise, or exclusive access to the ‘Sanitarium Rubber Room’ lounge and more. Visit CID Entertainment for full package details.

As the saying goes, the third time is the charm, and we’re excited to be in this space today to announce the re-rescheduled South American tour dates! For those of you who have hung in there with us over the last 18 months since the original shows were supposed to happen, thank you for your tremendous patience! We truly cannot wait to finally visit South America for the first time in almost five years in April/May of 2022 as we head back for the originally planned six headlining shows, including two Brazilian cities we have never played in: Belo Horizonte and Curitiba. Still on board for the ride to open the show are our friends in Greta Van Fleet.

Hang on to your tickets from those originally scheduled shows way back in April of 2020, as they will be honored for the new dates. Where applicable, refund information is below; we encourage you to visit the website or location where you purchased your tickets for additional details should you be unable to join us in the spring of 2022. Please note that the Buenos Aires show is back to the original location of Campo Argentino de Polo, and tickets are still available for most shows.

We wish you, your families, and your loved ones good health as we turn the page to the next chapter of this difficult time. We cannot wait to spend time in person with our extended Metallica family next year!
