This was the ninth weekend as part of the M72 World Tour.
This was Metallica’s first performance at SoFi Stadium.
This was the first in over 31 years that “Leper Messiah” was performed in the Los Angeles area. It was last played here on February 13, 1992, at the Great Western Forum.
This was the first time in 15 years that “The Memory Remains” was performed near Los Angeles. The last time it was played in the area was on May 17, 2008 down south in Irvine, CA at the KROQ Weenie Roast.
This was the first time that “Too Far Gone?,” “Shadows Follows,” and “Orion” were performed in the Los Angeles area.
While this was the first time “Orion” was played in the LA area, it was performed out in the desert in Indio, CA, on April 23, 2011.
This was the first time in nearly 14 years that “The Day That Never Comes” was performed near Los Angeles. The last time it was played in the area was on December 10, 2009 down south in Anaheim, CA at the Honda Center.
