This was the eighth weekend as part of the M72 World Tour.
This was the band’s third show in Arlington. They first played here on June 16, 2017, at AT&T Stadium.
Metallica last played Arlington on November 27, 2021, at Globe Life Field for Triller Fight Club.
This was the first time in 15 years that “Harvester of Sorrow” and “Welcome Home (Sanitarium)” were played in the Dallas area. They were last performed here on August 9, 2008, during Ozzfest in Frisco, TX.
This was the first in over 34 years that “Leper Messiah” was performed in the Dallas area. It was last played here on February 5, 1989, at Reunion Arena.
This was the first time in 23 years that “King Nothing” was played in the Dallas area. It was last performed here on August 3, 2000, at Smirnoff Music Centre/Starplex Amphitheatre.
This was the first time that “Lux Æterna,” “Too Far Gone?,” “Shadows Follows,” and “Orion” were performed in the state of Texas.
This was the first time in nearly 14 years that “The Day That Never Comes” was performed in the state of Texas. It was last played here on September 29, 2009, at the American Airlines Center in Dallas.
