This was the ninth time that Metallica performed at the Rock Werchter festival.
Metallica first played at Rock Werchter on July 4, 1993 which happened to be the last date on the tour for ***The Black Album***.
This was the first time in 15 years that Metallica performed “Whiplash” in Werchter.
This was the first time that “Dirty Window” and “Damage, Inc.” were played in Werchter.
This was the first time in 18 years that “No Leaf Clover” was performed in Werchter.
Metallica performed 16 songs off of eight albums: ***Kill ‘Em All*** (3), ***Ride the Lightning*** (2), ***Master of Puppets*** (2), ***…And Justice for All*** (2), ***Metallica*** (4), ***S&M*** (1), ***St. Anger*** (1), ***Hardwired…To Self-Destruct*** (1)
