This was the third time that Metallica played in Porto Alegre, Brazil.
This was the first time in 12 years that Metallica performed in Porto Alegre.
This show was originally scheduled for the spring of 2020 and had to be postponed numerous times due to the pandemic.
Metallica first performed in Porto Alegre on May 6, 1999, at Gigantinho.
Metallica last played in Porto Alegre on January 28, 2010, at Parque Condor.
This was the first time that “Whiplash,” “Harvester of Sorrow,” “No Remorse,” “Moth Into Flame,” “The Unforgiven,” “Welcome Home (Sanitarium),” and “Blackened” were performed in Porto Alegre, Brazil.
This was the first time in four years and only the 10th time in 10 years that “No Remorse” appeared in the setlist.
