Ultimate Classic Rock: 2022's 32 Most Memorable Rock Tours and Concerts
On Nov. 6, Metallica played a special show dedicated to the memories of Jonny and Marsha Zazula, co-founders of the band's first label, Megaforce. The set was completely comprised of songs from the group's first two albums, 1983's Kill 'Em All and 1984's Ride the Lightning. "Jon and Marsha Zazula are the reason Metallica exists today and the reason Metallica is still going 40 years strong," drummer Lars Ulrich stated during the show. "And this music is still connecting with all of you people out there."
