<p>Metallica are enjoying a whole 'nother level of pop-cultural relevance due to <em>Stranger Things</em>, specifically, the epic scene from the season 4 finale in which Eddie Munson — the show's Dio backpatch-wearing high-school hesher — shreds along to "Master of Puppets" in the hellish Upside Down. The thrash OGs even met up and jammed with actor Joe Quinn, who played Munson, backstage before their headlining performance at Lollapalooza and they paid tribute to the character by playing clips from the sequence during the final song of their set: you guessed it, "Master of Puppets."</p>
