Ticketmaster Discover: Stranger Things catapults another 80s classic into the charts
At the end of last month, Kate Bush’s ‘Running Up That Hill’ found itself at No.1 on the UK singles chart, 37 years after it was originally released. This unbelievable boost back into the top spot was thanks to Stranger Things, Netflix’s smash hit 80s nostalgia-fest which made the track pivotal to its fourth season.
Now Stranger Things has done it again, setting an epic guitar-shredding, monster-battling scene in the season’s finale to ‘Master Of Puppets’ by Metallica. The track is woven into the scene in much the same way as ‘Running Up That Hill’ before it, with a dynamic opening riff and a furious pace that helps to up the ante and keep viewers on the edge of their seats.
