Ghost Cult Magazine: Metallica Raises Over 1 Million Dollars for Ukraine with World Central Kitchen
Metallica has reached their goal of raising over 1 Million Dollars (USD) for the humanitarian relief effort in Eastern Europe, specifically supporting Ukraine who was invaded by Russia over three months ago. Teaming up with World Central Kitchen, they have delivered 8 million pounds of food to families in need in the region. This was a combination of direct donations from the band, as well as fan-led fundraising, auction for merch and experiences, and more!
