40th Anniversary Pre-Show Bash

It’s just a little over a week away now, and we cannot wait to celebrate with all of you as we gear up for the ’Tallica fan invasion of San Francisco. If you’re joining us at Chase Center on December 17 and/or 19, kick off the night right with our pre-show bash hosted by comedian Dean Delray along with Dj LORD as they set the mood to get everyone fired up before we hit the stage!

Living in the Bay Area during his formative years, Dean spent many nights in our old haunts like The Stone and Mabuhay Gardens. He’s been supporting us for the entire 40-year ride, and rumor has it that he’s got some pretty cool live bootlegs to show for it! Today he hosts his own weekly podcast, “Let There Be Talk,” where our own Kirk Hammett recently spent some quality time chatting with Dean. His other guests have included AC/DC, Bill Burr, Rob Halford, Paul Stanley, Jerry Cantrell, Stone Gossard, Josh Homme, and members of Pantera, Guns N’ Roses, Ozzy Osbourne, Quiet Riot, Queens of the Stone Age, The Mars Volta, The Sex Pistols, and more. Dean is also a frequent guest on “WTF with Marc Maron” and “The Joe Rogan Experience.” A fellow road warrior, Dean has over 5,000 stand-up comedy sets to his credit.

Legendary turntablist Dj LORD is a key member of Public Enemy and has performed worldwide in top clubs and festivals like Coachella and Glastonbury. In 2016, he joined the elite task force Prophets of Rage, teaming up with members of Rage Against The Machine, Public Enemy, and Cypress Hill. LORD tours with his own show featuring a multi-genre music selection and is recognized as one of the most versatile DJs around. He will definitely have Chase Center rocking!
