Month Of Giving 2026 Local Chapter Fundraising Competition
Not just a fan favorite, but a staff favorite as well! The Local Chapter Fundraising Competition continues to be the highlight of Month of Giving, embodying the spirit of the Metallica Family and All Within My Hand's #MetallicaGivesBack mantra.
Just as in years past, fan club members will compete to raise the most money for AWMH, with the winner claiming bragging rights and amazing prizes. Whether you're a member of a local chapter or not, find the group you want to support and help them work their way up the leaderboard. Last year, 28 chapters raised a combined $72,200.92; we can’t wait to see what you accomplish this year!
THE COMPETITION
We will again utilize Kindful’s Crowdfunding feature, the method debuted through our donation platform during last year’s competition. The chapter heads who registered to participate received instructions to set up their team's page. If you don't see your chapter yet, be patient as they work through this process. If your chapter hasn't signed up, encourage your chapter head to do so!
Be sure to share your fundraiser on social media using the hashtags #AWMH, #MetallicaFamilyGivesBack, and #MonthOfGiving2026.
THE PRIZES
Just like in previous years, there will be TWO winners in this competition: the chapter that raises the most money and a randomly selected chapter drawn from all participants.
The Grand Prize will be awarded to the chapter that raises the most money and will consist of:
- Two (2) Tickets to the M72 World Tour stop of their choice (trust us… more dates to be added)
- A Custom Carhartt Jacket
- A Wolverine Gear Pack, including Wolverine x Metallica Scholars branded box, socks, and bandana, a voucher for free boots at Wolverine.com, and additional Wolverine branded goodies
- A Merch Pack from The Met Store
- An autographed drumhead
- Additional surprise prizes
The Second Prize will be awarded to a chapter randomly selected from all participants. As long as you make a donation of any amount, you will qualify for this prize consisting of:
- A Wolverine Gear Pack, including Wolverine x Metallica Scholars branded box, socks, and bandana, a voucher for free boots at Wolverine.com, and additional Wolverine branded goodies
- A Merch Pack from The Met Store
- An autographed drumhead
- Additional surprise prizes
*Items designated as "autographed" are signed by all four members of Metallica (James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett, and Robert Trujillo).
**Prizes will be distributed to Chapter Members at the discretion of Chapter Heads.
