San Francisco Chronicle: Metallica adds weekly streaming schedule to help fans cope during coronavirus shutdown

Metallica has announced plans to keep its fans engaged during the coronavirus pandemic with a weekly series of concert streams the band has dubbed #MetallicaMondays.

The Bay Area metal band plans to broadcast full sets from past tours via its YouTube channel and Facebook page.

“Unfortunately, in these surreal times, that means we have to stay away from each other for the foreseeable future before we can start thinking about ’Tallica Family reunions around the world,” said a statement posted on the band’s website.
