People: Metallica Pledges Over $500,000 to Aid Firefighters in Australia Amid Devastating Wildfires

Metallica is joining the growing list of celebrities and musicians pledging to help those affected by the devastating wildfires in Australia.

The band — along with their foundation All Within My Hands — is pledging 750,000 Australian dollars, equal to almost 515,000 U.S. dollars, to the NSW Rural Fire Service and the Country Fire Authority in Victoria to aid relief efforts.
