For those of you schedule watching, you may have noticed a slight break in the action on this upcoming five-city Latin American tour... we can’t have that!! We thought it would be fun to take a slight detour between San Juan and Quito during those two days off and stop to visit our friends in Mexico City and pass on a little Hardwired... love. We’ll be there on October 27th and 28th chatting with a few journalists and playing the album for them and we want you to be a part of the action!

Thank you New York City!!!

What an amazing show here at Webster Hall. From the the time the band hit the stage till they walked off, it was wall to wall people yelling their faces off to every song. Orion was dedicated to Cliff, we had the live premiere of Moth, Breadfan and Holier for the first time in 3 years, Orion in two years, and the second ever performance of Hardwired! Full setlist is up, pics to come.

Rolling Stone: Metallica Bridge Past and Future at Electrifying Club Gig

When Metallica took the stage at New York City's Webster Hall, a venue that's minuscule by Metallica standards with a capacity of 1,500, they simply walked on. There was no intro video. Metal Hammer: What happened at Metallica's exclusive fan club show

The sheer amount of people camped outside the 1,000-ish capacity Webster Hall that don't even have a ticket tells you everything you need to know about the level of Big Deal tonight's gig is. Metallica, a band that have made a habit out of last-minute guerrilla shenanigans, are capping off a packed two-week promo sit-in in New York with their most intimate show in years, with only fanclub members and fortunate blaggers able to make their way in

Rolling Stone: Metallica Talk Crazy Fan Meetings, Lou Reed, Lemmy-Inspired Song

Metallica stopped by SiriusXM's New York studios on Monday to answer fan questions for the network's Town Hall segment in anticipation of the November 18th release of the group's Hardwired ... to Self-Destruct LP. The band members – James Hetfield, Kirk Hammett, Robert Trujillo and Lars Ulrich – were in good spirits and gamely answered the queries. The segment won't run in full until November 17th at 5 p.m. EST on the network's "Mandatory Metallica" station (channel 37), but Rolling Stone sat in and listened. Here are the most interesting things we learned.
