By the time we reach early April there will be 25 releases including 62 different songs and for those of you who would like each and every one, you may pre-order a box set including them all . . . you’ll have a custom box to store them in and of course there is that volume discount thing!

And since we're in a festive mood - for a limited time, all 2014 By Request shows, and 2013 Asian shows are 19.81% off (not including 2014 By Request Box Set).

No Life 'til Leather

This year we decided to celebrate Record Store Day with our friends at independent retail by taking a huge leap back in time to our humble beginnings with that little rectangle of plastic known as the "demo tape." In 1982 we recorded seven songs that became our initial calling card known as No Life 'til Leather and it led us to our first record deal . . . the rest, as you some of you may know, is history! On Record Store Day, April 18th that demo tape will be available as a limited edition cassette (yes, cassette!!) at your favorite neighborhood record store and Metallica.com.

New Arrivals

Here at HQ, we have been working hard to bring you new items (and some old favorites) for your everyday life, and to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.

Fade To Green

31 Years ago today, on February 20, 1984 - Metallica went into Sweet Silence Studios to start recording Ride the Lightning, and finished recording just before St Patrick's Day.

Pick up your Whiskey In The Jar - mason style jars, and celebrate St. Patrick's Day and the recording of Ride The Lightning in 'Tallica-style!

Snow And Ski

We're excited to announce that we have hooked up with Armada to create a custom line of Metallica skis for you to cruise around the mountains on. Founded by professional skiers and a snow-sports photographer, Armada was skiing's first rider-owned, rider-operated manufacturer and we admire that independent, do-it-yourself spirit.

Some Kind Of Monster

We can’t believe it, but Some Kind of Monster premiered 11 years ago today (January 21st) at the Sundance Film Festival! We’re not quite sure where the time went, but with the recent reissue of the DVD and first-time issue of the film on Blu-ray, we figured it was the right time to celebrate.

Check out the Some Kind of Monster T-Shirt, Blu-ray, and DVD. Or better yet, snag one of the bundles and get the shirt and movie for one low price! And hey, it wouldn’t be right to celebrate Some Kind of Monster without a shout-out to St. Anger…special selections related to that album are also on sale this week!
