Your friends from Metallica here to remind you that if you grabbed the full "Death Magnetic" game for your "GH III", you can play it on the new "Guitar Hero World Tour" that hit the stores on Sunday (the fancy term being that it is "forward compatible") and now you can experience "DM" for drums and vocals along with guitar and bass.

If the new GH game has you now looking for the "Death," download, you can get it at the Xbox LIVE Marketplace for a cost of 1,440 Microsoft Points and in the Playstation store for PS3 at a cost of $17.99. Each download contains two different versions of "Suicide & Redemption." One version is James only solo, and the other is Kirk only solo. Oh yeah, "Trapped Under Ice" is on "World Tour" for your riffing pleasure. For the Nintendo Wii, you can download "Broken, Beaten, and Scarred", "Cyanide," and "My Apocalypse" for 200 Wii points each.


And for those of you who already have the new GH, you may have noticed a little trailer there at the end . . . something about "unleashing your metal god" . . . hmmm . .
