Fan Club members are given the opportunity to purchase tickets to live shows, and some club members even get to go backstage to meet the band. Over the years, the band has performed a number of gigs exclusively for club members, usually in small intimate clubs or theaters, as well as giving members access to gigs that are not open to the general public. An example of these intimate shows: four nights at the legendary "Fillmore" in San Francisco in May 2003. Over 3,000 Clubbers attended these first full shows with Robert Trujillo.
