This live box set is a necessity for the hardcore Metallifan. It contains material up to and including the self-titled "black" album, including concert favorites "Creeping Death" and "Seek & Destroy," as well as classics like "For Whom the Bell Tolls," "Welcome Home (Sanitarium)," and "Fade to Black."
There are also a couple of ripping-fast solos from Jason Newsted and Kirk Hammett, and covers of "Last Caress," "Am I Evil?" and "Stone Cold Crazy."
The videos are from a 1992 San Diego concert and a 1989 stop on the Damaged Justice tour in Seattle; both are guaranteed to turn any fan who hasn't had the considerable pleasure of hearing this seminal metal band live green with envy.
This is a re-release of the legendary VHS box set, originally released on November 23rd 1993 - in a "convenient new size but still ****ing huge!" Now on 3 CDs and 2 DVDs at a special price, it includes over 8 hours of Metallica in-concert from 3 complete shows. The original 72 page full colour book is on DVD 2, plus there is a commemorative backstage pass and scary guy stencil.
Not all regions will be released on Dec. 8th 2003. Please check with your local retailer on when this set will be available.
