Doors just opened here at Saprissa Stadium and there are a lot of EXCITED fans here. Most of them get to experience the Metallica Machine for the very first time! Opening bands Pneuma and Mastodon start the show at 6 and 6:45, with the boys going on around 8.

The very large an loud sold out crowd here at the Estadio Mateo Flores made it one for the record books! Over 27,000 fans yelled, screamed, and sang their heads off to every song. Band ended the set tonight with Last Caress, Battery, and Seek. Full setlist is up, pics to come.

Interesting show start

Too much metal as Metallica started the show tonight with Creep and Bellz while the power went out. After a few mins, power came back on, and the metal continued with Bellz, Fuel, Harvie, Fade, Life, and Line is on now. Sad is next!
First Time

Tonight will be Metallica's first time playing in Guatemala City. It's an early show tonight, with Extincion starting things off at 6, Mastodon at 6:50, and our boys hitting stage around 8.

Lars said this last show here in Monterrey was the best out of all the Mexico shows in the last year. Over 37,000 fans filled up the sold out Estadio Universitario for this great show. Full setlist is up, pics to come.
