Machine Head just hit the stage... the Metallica boys are getting ready to hit the Tuning Room, then it's on stage to start the European leg of World Magnetic!!!

Metallica arrived in Nottingham last night, and spent quite a long time rehearsing some songs. Which songs you ask? Well, can't tell you exactly, but there was some regular songs, some new songs, and some that haven't been played in a while! Pics are up from last night...

Video from the second night in Jerzy is now up. In addition to the meet and greet, tuning, and Harvie from the show, we have James and Lars talking with Acrassicauda, and then check out their stunned faces as James gives them a guitar right after he walks off stage! Band and crew have the next few weeks off, and then we bring the World Magnetic Tour to Europe, starting in Nottingham on the 25th! See you then!

Along with the always special meet and greet and radio interviews, the whole band sat down with their good friend Jim Breuer for an interview that will be airing soon on his radio show! Have you heard of this documentary called "Heavy Metal in Baghdad"? It's about an underground metal band in Iraq called Acrassicauda. Well, some of them got to meet their heroes today, and got to see thsier first Metallica show! After the show, both James and Kirk gave them one of their guitars, and wishing them the best of luck as they try to create their music here in America! This was the last show for THIS leg in North America. Lars said that they will be back in September starting in Nashville! Pix are up from the show, and video from the first Newark show. Enjoy!
