Right now the band is pounding out Sanitarium! Before that, we had Creep, Fuel, and Bellz. "We haven't played in a long time" said James before Fuel. Oh, and what is that I see? A new guitar for James? Looks like a Truckster, but it's BLACK!

Band just did a quick sound check and everything seemed to check out alright. Band is currently being interviewed by all kinds of press. Next up, is the M and G!

So crew have been here since early this morning setting up the gear. To bring you up to speed, the band had their last day of rehearsals on Monday, and yesterday was a photo shoot day with Ross Halfin. Tonight's show at the Wiltern is pretty much sold out, so if you decide to come at the last minute, you might be out of luck. Pics to come!

So, Metallica will start a couple days early with the benefit show at the Wiltern on Wed. May 14th! Pics are up from this week's rehearsal. The band is sounding great, and are having fun playing "new shit, old shit, and new-old shit." Don't forget, Mission Metallica on Monday, May 12th!

Let the onslaught begin! The band have started rehearsals, and it seems like they picked up right where they left off. The boys are rehearsing quite a range of songs.... hopefully some surprises this summer! In the meantime, pics have been posted. Metallica returns to the Weenie Roast! Saturday, May 17th! And this time, they will headline!

Metallica returns to Turkey for its third time, once again at the Ali Sami Yen Stadium on July 27. That wraps up the European vacation, with one warm up date in Tucson, and a little US festival called Bonnaroo. Currently the band is still recording the final bits of the album, and will begin tour rehearsals in a couple weeks. Hope to see some of you guys and gals on the rail this summer!!

The luck of the Irish have brought Metallica back to Dublin! August 20th at Marlay Park. One more show to announce, can you guess which one it is?

Metallica's second visit to the Pukkelpop festival will take place on August 15th! A couple more shows left to be announced, and then the European vacation will be complete! Stay tuned!
