The Memory Remains, Turn The Page, Dirty Window and King Nothing. Enough reasons for ya? If not, then lets add a few grains of loud crowd plus a grain of pie..on stage that is! Happy 1 year anniversary Chad, a great addition to the MetalliFamily. "This is the first time I have ever seen Metallica, and I am fucking impressed", said Patrick Johansson drummer for guitar legend Yngwie Malmsteens band. Patrick got a chance to speak to his fellow drum college Lars before the show, and sent his greetings from Yngwie, that was not able to attend the show. Time flies by when you forget to check what time it is..and it is getting late for me, I am on my way to Jacksonville for a day off. I am working on capturing some cool shit for you guys tomorrow, we will see how it goes...Who said 12 to go??

The calm before the storm..."Hey security Mike, Robert should be here in 3 minutes", said Lee on the radio a few minutes ago here in Ft Lauderdale at the Office Depot Center. I just got back from walking around the venue to check out the vibe, and yes, the vibe is on high :) Uploaded a few photos for you, and before the night is over, another video should be hitting your screens....MOT

Goodnight, and WAKE UP...We have two new videos for you! The boys did two nights in Quebec City, and we all the fun & the boring stuff covered. First night covers all sides, outside, inside, backstage, on stage. The fans outside, the fans inside, the band inside hanging with the fans, on stage playing for the fans. As you have seen and heard by now, writing the setlist can be a challenge in itself. Our good buddy Lars made sure to have some fun with the setlist in Quebec too. To finish it off, Holier Than Thou.
The second night in Quebec, the fun continued. We had too much metal in the tuning room, all the power went out. Lars fucked up and forgot to put Sad But True on the setlist, 10 minutes before show time. He was really psyked about the setlist, but he still had to drop one song to put Sad But True on there. You will also get a chance to check out Wasting My Hate, that they rehearsed backstage.

The stage is not that wide James! During St. Anger, James took one step too much, and then had to jump off by the barricade and then jam, to try to get up again. He played it off pretty well, so I don't know how many people noticed, but I did :) Aside from that side-steppin, the show was a pretty good one for being the first after a break. Normally it does take a few shows to get back in to the groove, maybe the heat made them get right back on track. The setlist here in Tampa, was similar to what we have seen and heard lately. The Unforgiven, The God That Failed and Disposable Heroes have stayed on the list recently, songs we have not heard in a while, prior that this tour that is.Second Florida show coming up tomorrow in Ft. Lauderdale. Also, don't go to bed yet, we will have a video for ya...as promised :)

It almost felt like the first day on the tour here today in Tampa. There was soo much shit going on backstage, frontstage, sidestage, offstage, you name it! When I walked outside I saw some greener than green shirts everywhere. We had the good 'ol St. Germany fanclub chapter back in town. Long trip to see some shows, but I know it will be worth it. One thing to remember is that this stage has never been over in Europe, so a lot of the dedicated fans will make come over to the US before this tour is over. Who really knows if this stage will see the light again?Got some photos up, plus that the show is on the road, no big surprises yet. Speak soon..MOT

23 years anniversary at the show here in London, ON? Well, it depends who you ask. The one I decided to ask was Lars and his response was a nice "I don't fucking remember". This with a glimt in his eye of course. "It could very well be", he continued. When I said "Happy Anniversary", Kirk's response was "Shit, who did I forget to call". Even if we are off a few days here and there, there were banners everywhere, and it fucking feels like an anniversary, OK!
The boys walked off stage at their first ever London, ON show, and it was another incredible Canada show. The crowd was loud, the pyro was loud, the band was loud, and the after party is even louder! As always, the boys listen to the fans request and Harvester of Sorrow, The Four Horsemen and Fade To Black were a few of the songs that made it. I think during Damage Inc. Kirk was a little too close to the pyro, a little fire under his ass...ouch.
A few days off for the boys to look forward too, then it is back to business. Next business meeting is on Nov 5th in Tampa, FL, see you then!!! HUGZ...MOT

Let's lighten up the day here ok! Another video is up, this one is from Buffalo where we could not provide any live footage for you BUT I do promise you 12+ minutes of behind the scenes crazyness you should not see! I got a quick talk with Mike, our Pro Tools king that gave us a little insight in to the new album? What does he do for a living, he is mining for nuggets. There is soo much stuff in this video, that you better put tune in, turn the light off, call in sick from work, and start watching to find out for yourself

Introducing, for the first time in Metallica history...drum roll...We are in London, ON, Canada! We are at the John Labatt Centre and from what I have heard the show is sold out. Today is also the last show before band and crew leaves for a quick break. You better hurry up and get your ass to any of these "in the round" shows, there is only one month to go.
