Made it! Nuff said! Walked in to the tuning room at the Gaylord Focker Arena in Nashville and our boys were in great spirits, and messing around with all kind of tunes! If those would show up on the setlist somewhere, that would be awesome. What did show up on the setlist, so far, Blackened, Fuel, The Four Horsemen, No Leaf Clover, Frantic and right now The Unforgiven. Lata...

Here I am, it is raining like bloody hell outside, but I am warm, dry and in a fine, fine mood, capuchino in hand, yakking with some new buddies I made in the last few hours...what? Has the swede lost his mind you ask? Let me explain...Kirk and Rob decided to have a day off in Cocoa Beach, FL to hang with some amazing surfers and get in the water too. This would be a good day to get some different kind of "day off" stuff, that you guys don't get to see too often. It all sounded good, until we got to Cocoa and the weather sucked, too windy killing any good waves that might show up on the horizon. They did get a few rides, and I did get some cool photos, plus there will be a story about surfing in one of the upcoming So What! magazine issues. I would be updating you from Nashville, but I am not in Nashville, as I decided to stop off in Atlanta and hang at the Starbucks 'cos it's so cool! (translation: flight delay!) No, I will not miss the show, but I thought I give you guys a quick heads up, why you don't have an update from Nashville yet. Here is your update from Atlanta instead :) Plus that this is my chance to went...See ya...MOT

That's enough, what's up with Pensacola? Why do they get all the good shit? First off, they got The Call Of Ktulu, this song has not been played in its entirety since like 1985. Don't start screaming at me now, I know they played them at the S&M shows, and also in Hawaii a few days before the S&M show, to rehearse. We had more coming, Dirty Window, Last Caress and then during Seek and Destroy Kirk sang the whole first verse, and then Rob right after that. WOW!!

Now this is almost a summer tour here in Florida. The nice and warm weather continues, and we are in Pensacola. Was nice to hear Motorbreath on the setlist at yesterdays show, we have not heard that one since April 24 in Roanoke, VA. What will we get tonight?

Throw a drink, pay the price. Not even a cup-chuckin' dope can stop Metallica. Put your drink in your mouth, put your hands in the air, and enjoy the show. During For Whom The Bell Tolls someone threw a cup on James, so he had to stop for about 30 seconds, and then of course on with the show! Other than that idiot, the rest of the crowd were LOUD. "Yes, the crowd was so into it", said Kirk to his surfer friend Sean, right after the show. "We had such a good time tonight", he continued.
Setlist did get a little shake up tonight here in Jacksonville. Biggest surprise of the night was definitely Motorbreath, and then the boys also delivered Harvester of Sorrow, I Disappear, Wherever I May Roam among others.
Florida, we are having some fun, and the fun will continue....
FUN NOTE #1: Earlier during the day, when I walked in to the tuning room, there was this little kid behind the drums rocking out. "Hey, meet Lars", said Lars to me. Say what? To make a long story short...David Wells, famous baseball player, is a huge Metallica fan, and actually named his son after Lars. "Not only is he an amazing baseball player, he is also amazing at picking names for his children", was Lars comment when I asked him...
FUN NOTE #2: Kirk has been in heaven this past two shows. He got to meet one of his heroes, Paul Chapman, legendary guitar player for the band UFO.

Here we are in Jacksonville, FL, living the rock 'n roll dream! Today we will have the honor of getting a visit from Mr Steffan Chirazi, our beloved So What! magazine editor. Good to have you here. Steffan is out here to conduct some interviews with the boys. I will try to sneak in my camera and give you guys the scoop. Yes, we had the return of Dirty Window at the last show, we will see if that one stays on the list for tonight.

Some videos you are more proud of than others, and I must say that this next video, is one of my favorites from this tour. The first night in Philadelphia and this one contains pretty much everything you can ask for. We have a headbangers party outside, some die hard 'Tallica fans with amazing Tattoos, the crew hard at work, interview with Metallica's monitor king Paul, contest winner gets a guitar lesson from Kirk, another contest winner gets to sing with the band and then Wherever I May Roam from the show. Damn, writing all that almost made me exhausted.
So I give this one thumbs up, how about you guys??

You remember when they played The God That Failed for the 1st time since Aug. 26, 1995? I do, and let me share the experience with you. You know what time it is, time for another video. We are going back to a beautiful day in Washington D.C. and we start off by giving you a quick view of the White House, and then we head over to the MCI Center to get the backstage scoop. During the meet & greet the fans sure had questions for the boys. Lars wanted to make sure to make another Wish come true, a very special moment. Let's not forget about the challenge of creating a setlist, changes and more changes. Enjoy...
