Showtime here in Melbourne, we are about 3/4 in to the set. It turned out to be a pretty fun day. We had a contest winner from a local radio station, that got to jam with the boys. She (yes, a girl, that fucking rocked) got the guys to jam on Memory Remains, then Bellz, and I believe I heard Seek somewhere in there too. Where is she right now? She is sitting right behind Lars for the whole show. Doubt she will forget this day...

Another Big Day Out, but we will stay in Melbourne for a few days. Today we are at the Showgrounds, tomorrow a day off, and then Metallica's own headlining show at the Myers Music Bowl. Let's start by getting todays show on the road...

"Bring it on Sydney, three days of punishment and you are screaming for more" (thanks Butch!). The band walked on stage at 8:30pm, and the show just finished a few minutes ago. The setlist changed, but in a way it did not change (know what I mean...?). James was soo excited about playing 3 nights in Sydney, that he was ready to move here! Setlist is up, and so are your wonderful pics...

Second Big Day Out here in Sydney, Australia. This is also the first time in Big Day Out history that they've had two days in the same city at the same venue. Hopefully this has something to do with all the amazing Metallica fans we have over here. Just like how yesterday started, the weather is not on our side. We currently have some lightning, but when the boys enter the venue (another 20 minutes) you know it's going to stop, right??

Alright, let's put it like this...Fuck the lightning, fuck the rain, we never stop, we never quit, 'cause these fuckers are Metallica! The band just finished another Big Day Out show, and they did it FULL FORCE as usual. Setlist is up, and so are our favorite photos of the night....MOT

Ride The Lightning, won't be on tonights setlist, BUT we had some fucking lightning going on right before the show started. This is definitely one of the few Metallica shows I have seen that we had rain during the show. Somehow Metallica always seem to have the weather with them, but for the first 30 minutes of todays show, I guess someone was pissed...

"That was better than fucking Brisbane", a fan yelled to me, right after the show. Do I agree? Well, I think somehow the crowd here won the LOUD award of the week. On top of that, the almost over excited fans were flying over the barricader like CRAZY. Alright then, but how about the setlist? We had a different setlist, with a lot of joking around in between (and during) the songs. Yes, but how about the band performance. Not to say anything about previuous shows and performances, but did the guys not step it up pretty good?? I think they did....

Beautiful day in beautiful Sydney. On the schedule is another pool tournement for our boys. This one is put together by Triple M, a Sydney rock station. James & Kirk on one team, and then Rob & Lars will play against the winners (contest winners that is, even if James & Kirk pull it off). Will get some pics of that when it happens.

The word of the day - The Big Day In! The first thing I heard when I walked outside, right after the gig, was that tonight's show "was the shit"! I think that means that Metallica kicked ass. Was nice to see/hear a change in the setlist, check it out yourself!
