Another quick update from "Lost Wages" town. The band just arrived and we have Steffan from the MetClub magazine So What! here to do an interview in about 20 minutes. It sounds like you guys are into the video from the first night in Los Angeles, so why not check out the video from the second night in Los Angeles. That's right baby, we got ANOTHER VIDEO! This one has some cool tuning & attitude stuff, Ride The Lightning from the show, and then a little surprise after the show...

2 important messages: #1: We have a new video, this one from the first night in Los Angeles, March 5th. I KNOW everyone want's Dyers Eve, but hey, there will be more opportunities. I can't just give that one away...just yet. I should have the Tucson video up within the next few days, just waiting for something to finish that one up (Hey Lars, get with me so I can finish that one!)#2: Viva Las Vegas baby, we are back once again. Last time we were here was to celebrate New Years Eve at the Hard Rock Cafe'. This time around we are back at the Thomas And Mack Center. Last time we were at this venue was 7 years ago. Talk to you in a bit...MOT

"I am fucking excited about this setlist, let's fuck some shit around", was one of the last things I heard from Lars right before he walked on stage. Metallica walked off stage a few minutes ago, setlist is up, and we got some new songs that we have not heard in a while put in there. How about Leper Messiah and The Four Horsemen? On another shownote, tonight's setlist did not include St. Anger. Talk about that one!Crew is on their way to Las Vegas, for a day off (travel day I should say). Some of the band guys will go to Vegas, some will go home, and other peeps might do some skiing. You guess who......LUV MOT!

A beutiful day in beautiful Reno, Nevada. We are just a few miles away from the Strip with all the casinos and crazyness. Now when we are more in to the "groove" of the tour, we should start seeing videos from the shows. My goal is to have a video up within 2 days after the show. The videos will probably be much shorter than what you might be used to, but I really want to keep it as fresh as possible. We can always keep the other 100's of hours for a DVD, right??? Let's not get any rumours started, but you never know where you might see all that other shit. So let's start hammering the videos out, the first one NOW. As you might remember, King Nothing, was back in the setlist at the first show in Phoenix. Check out the clip from that show, plus some wise words after the show from our buddy Kirk. Enjoy!

"Yo Sacto, you guys fucking rock", yelled Kirk to the crowd after the show. - "Since we live about a hundred miles from here, don't you think Metallica should come back more than every six fucking years? See you soon motherfuckers!", was Lars' message to the 16 000 close friends attending. And how about the setlist you ask? Some of the more "unusual" songs to note were: I Disappear, The Unnamed Feeling, Last Caress and Hit The Lights. Setlist is up, check it out!

Another day off yesterday. Today we travelled about 2 hours to Sacramento, CA. The crew was already here setting up, early as usual. Loadin started around 6am. Tonight should be a little more "low key", when it comes to backstage action. We had a lot of family and friends coming to the shows in Los Angeles and San Francisco. I regognized a few faces, and probably forgot a few too. Here are a list of other artists & entertainers & others that I remember seeing at those shows:Nicolas Cage (actor), Lemmy (Motorhead), Scott Ian (Anthrax), Rob Zombie, Vinny & Dimebag (Pantera/Damage Plan), Ron Jeremy (?), Sum 41, Mike "Puffy" Bordin (Ozzy Osbourne), Jerry Cantrell, Whitfield Crane. Sorry if I forgot anyone, and I am SURE I did. As you probably know by now, the crew is travelling around on tourbuses. Most of you have probably not seen the inside of any of these buses, so I took a photo and sending it up in a few minutes for you to check out. Normally those buses are anything from 4 to 15 bunks. On this Metallica tour, we normally have 12 bunks, and sleep about 9-10 people on each. On this tour we have 6 crew buses, and 14 trucks transporting the stage.

Second night in LA and the setlist changes continue. Nice to see/hear Thingy and of course Ride The Lightning. "It is cool to be back in LA to see some friends I have not seen in a while" said James when asked how LA was treating him. Setlist and pics are up. Next stop HOME!!
