We are at the the venue, the Oslo Spektrum. Last time Metallica was in Norway was in 1999, and they played at the same venue. This time around we are here for two nights, instead of one night. Not a bad place for starting off a tour. The crew has been here since midnight, trying to get it all ready for the boys to walk in. The band should be here in about an hour, they will have a short soundcheck before doors open. I would also like to welcome Godsmack, who will join us throughout this tour. Pics on the way...MOT

Ok, check this out.... You are getting off a plane at 3:30 in the afternoon...and...it is already getting dark! Welcome to Oslo baby! Most of the crew guys have arrived and the band should fly in shortly. I am really looking forward to the next two upcoming shows here in Oslo. Not only are they the first shows on the European tour, but the shows sold out within an hour so we will have some true fucking Metalli-Bashers here! And don't forget what normally happens to the setlist when Metallica plays 2 nights in the same city...That's right, you better stay tuned...MOT

So that was fun right? The guys finished rehearsing for the night about an hour ago. They were talking about how cool it was to hang out again and jam, especially on these tunes. Lars looked over at Rob and said "Man, I see something special in your eyes when you play these songs." And of course, did we not hear some new riffs too, ahhhhhhh, you know these guys.... they just come up with new shit all the time.Tomorrow, the boys will have a little more rehearsal for breakfast before jumping on their flight to Europe. Just to make sure that we do not miss ANY of these extremely exciting rehearsals, we have yet again "hired" the MetOnTour Intern. Myself, I will catch an early flight to make sure we don't miss anything of the extremely exciting arrival in Oslo, Norway. Stay tuned for the Intern tomorrow. I'll catch up with you guys in Oslo... Sweet Home HQ... at least for two days. The guys arrived about an hour ago and went straight into rehearsal. They want to make sure they maximize their time, thus not a whole bunch of chitter chatter, just straight down to m-e-t-a-l... I know what everyone is thinking...CUT THE BULLSHIT, WHAT SONGS ARE THEY REHEARSING??? OK, here we go peoples... come on, that's no fun...think of this as us helping you! Anyhooter, you'll only have to wait at least 3 more days :) What I can say is that you might hear some NEW SHIT!......or maybe not...or maybe so... Take that to the message boards!
