One "interesting" thing about Italy, is the amount of bootleg merchandise they sell outside the venue. I put up a photo of some of it. The band should be here in 40 minutes. They got some press to do, and of course, the Meet & Greet with Clubberz. Pics are up...MOT

So yesterday was a "day off", but in Metallica land, this actually means "travel day". The crew had a 13 hour bus drive from Paris to Bologna. We are now at the Palamalaguti Arena for tonights show.

"You guys are fucking awesome tonight" said the band's manager to James during the show. James looked at him and replied "Yeah, this is a killer show. Amazing". I think that statement captures the night! Of course, as we all know, our buddy Lars has to have the last word..."Here is an early Christmas for you. June 23rd in Paris at the Parc Des Princes."Setlist is up, show photos on the way.... MOT

Guess what I hear?"I see my reflection in the window. It looks different, so different than what you see". That's right, we got Dirty Window being played right now here in Paris. There is actually a funny story behind this one. During the Meet & Greet Lars asked the fanclub members attending which one they wanted to hear "The Unnamed Feeling" or "Dirty Window". You guess the winner here! Talk about involving their fans in everything they do. Other songs on the setlist today are Battery, Creep, Seek, Sanitarium, Thingy, Frantic, Bellz and right now Dirty Window. Speak to YA ALL SOON...MOT

The boys just finished the meet & greet with the fanclub members. It was a fun one, with a lot of fun questions. When is FanCan 5 going to be out? I found a spelling error on the French version of the new single, why is that? and so on...I might put some of this stuff up on the video from tonight's show. Right now the guys are in their dressingroom, getting ready to enter the Tuning room, for some jammin. Gotta run, speak soon...MOT

Paris, France - Metallica is back! The crew has been here for a few hours loading in the gear. We already have some die-hard, freezing, crazy Metallica fans lined up outside. They want to make sure to get the best seat in the house, in the front row of course. Anything else to report? YES, A NEW VIDEO IS UP. This one, I can promise, will be much talked about...why? Check it out for yourselves, from the Dec 5th show in Hannover.

Sitting in the band's "food & schmooze" room backstage here at the Hallenstadion. It must be LOUD out there as I can hear both the music AND the crowd. Right now the band is performing St. Anger and, according to the setlist, we have three more songs to go. Working on getting some more pictures from the show to you shortly, plus a little "after show" talk.

We have a show here in Zurich. The boys are on stage and have played 5 songs so far. Right now we have Frantic, with some great crowd sing-a-long. Another Platinum Award for St. Anger took place, Europe sure can't get enough of Metallica. We are also continuing with what we started in Arnhem, YOU will get the chance to write the official show review here on MetOnTour. I just opened up the "Official" Zurich topic where you can post your review from tonights show. Show must go on, speak soon....MOT
