Time flies by when you are having fun, right. A few hours later it is show time. I have been trying to finish up the next video for you guys, so sorry for the lack of updates so far (only 3 so far, what the fuck, right). I am happy to say that I have completed the next video from Paris, and I think it turned out pretty freakin cool. Got a cool theme throughout the video. I will try to steal the highspeed access and shut down the building, to make sure you guys get it a few hours after tonights show. Laters...MOT

A few hours later, here we are at Koln Arena. The crew is finishing load in, and it seems to be another day at the rock 'n roll office. All good.

Alright, day off in Cologne, Germany. Got a call from James around 2pm saying that he was on his way out to ride go-carts with some of the folks from Godsmack. He wondered if I could tag along and take some photos & video tape the event. He did give me a 2 minute notice, so that was not too bad. Entering the van they rented, we had Sully & Robbie from Godsmack plus some of their very cool crew guys. James have been hanging out with those guys a lot lately and I must say this tour is turning into a very cool "family vibe" between the bands & their crew. James even caught a ride with Godsmack after the last show. We went to Michael Schumacher Kart-Center to ride some go-carts. They sure had some FAST machines in there. We bought tickets for like 6 races each, but after 2 races everyone was already beat and we had to get some food and relax. Each race is like 9 minutes and with these machines it does beat the hell out of you, unless one of your "friends" crashes in to you :) After all the races were done, and we were in the car on the way back to the hotel. It was fun to hear all "excuses." "Hey man, my car sucked. I weigh too much." and so on, but it was all in good spirits, and many jokes were thrown around. ...and the tour continues tomorrow, show coming up here in Cologne, GERMANY. See ya then...MOT

A fun day off for once! Arrived at my hotel around 5 in the morning, and could not go to sleep. Fell asleep a few hours later, but then got a "wake up call" around 2pm from James. He told he was going out with some of the guys in Godsmack to have some fun and was wondering if I wanted to join him and take some photos & video. It is now around 6pm and I just got back to the hotel. I will give you a full report in a few hours with some cool pix. Laters...MOT

That's a nice surprise. 11th song of the night, Damage Inc(luding intro tape). Right after One, we all heard an intro we recognize, but we have not heard in a while, Damage Inc. It was a little shorter version, but still a nice surprise in the middle of the set. Tonight Metallica decided to stick with Dirty Window and The Unnamed Feeling, plus of course Frantic. About another hour to go here in Mannheim. More to come...MOT

Blackened is the end, the show has begun! We have a show in Mannheim, and the band decided to open with Blackened. Judging on the reaction, and the crowd noise level, this will be a fun one. The other day in the dressing room the band was laughing/smiling about the reaction on the board about the "Dirty Window solo". I thought it would be a good idea to print the topic out and deliver it to Kirk. Photo proof is up! We have soo much fun on the road, don't we :) Speak in a bit...MOT
